Our Support Groups and Classes

Care Ministries offers a variety of support groups for women and men dealing with the aftermath of a miscarriage, an abortion, for those that are caregivers, and a mentorship program for moms.

Post-abortion trauma is more common than you may think, and can reveal itself in a variety of ways. Here are 5 ways that this type of trauma tends to be characterized by.

  • Prolonged periods of depression, perhaps worse on the anniversary of the abortion, or the time the baby would have been born.

  • Discomfort when a friend becomes pregnant, or when invited to a baby shower.

  • Nightmares or flashbacks to the abortion.

  • Sleep disturbances.

  • Anger, directed at oneself or others, leading to self-destructive behavior or decisions.

  • If you have experienced any of the following symptoms, you may be suffering from post-abortion trauma.

We are here to tell you that there is hope and that you can heal! You do not have to live with those feelings and thoughts forever! Please consider taking our abortion recovery class, offered twice throughout the year for 10-weeks. If you are interested and would like to learn more, please register today. We want to help you break free from your past and move forward towards a bright future!

Did you know that 1 in every 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage?

Care Ministries desires to come alongside those of you who have suffered a miscarriage, stillbirth, or pregnancy loss with counseling and support.

Anxiety, stress, grief, and despair are normal issues after experiencing a miscarriage or pregnancy loss. Because of this, Care Ministries offers a support group full of individuals who have suffered/are suffering in order to point one another to the true hope and healing we have in Christ. This group will begin as a support group in the hopes of becoming a biblically-based curriculum over time. If you or someone you know are interested, please email

This support group meets weekly on Wednesdays from 11am-12pm. For more information, please email or call our office at 714-637-9664.

Our Caregivers Support Group is for individuals in different stages of their caregiving journey- whether at the beginning or after their passing. It is a unique group that provides practical help and support to individuals along their caregiving path.

The importance of support during and after your caregiving season is essential. We were not meant to walk this road alone. Are you feeling overwhelmed with grief and despair but unable show it to your loved one as you care for them? Do you feel guilty about this? This group may be able to help you as you process these emotions

Our ladies typically meet once a week on Thursdays from 1-3pm in our office space at LivingWell Pregnancy Centers. For more information or to join the group, please email or call our office at +1 714-633-4673.

Care Ministries offers a mentorship program for moms who are new to pregnancy and parenting, as well as moms who are in the thick of parenting and need that extra support.

Our Mentorship program is for clients and non-clients of LivingWell Pregnancy Centers. We offer two programs: a 5-week curriculum in the area of pregnancy and a biblically based 10-week curriculum in the area of parenting.

In your meetings, you will meet one-on-one with an older, more seasoned "Mentor Mom". The meetings will be one hour long. Materials are provided for you and there is no homework required in preparation for these meetings.

Through the program, you also have the opportunity to earn credit for our baby boutique. Our boutique is located at LivingWell Pregnancy Centers and has a wide selection of new and gently used baby clothes, toys, and more.

For more information, please email, call 714-633-4673, or visit our Mentor Moms page.
